LASH INFO

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash Extensions are used to enhance the look of one’s natural lashes. It is a non-invasive procedure that lengthens your natural lashes, with options to change the thickness and curl.

Are Lash Extensions safe?

Eyelash Extensions are safe as long as the procedure is done by a certified and highly experienced lash technician.

How can I prepare for my lash appointment?

Please refrain from wearing any makeup, or products that contain oils around the eye area. If you do happen to be wearing eye makeup, be prepared to remove it before your appointment. The oil from these products can be very hard to remove, this can affect the way your lashes adhere and how long they last.

How do I choose the look I want?

You can choose your own style freely. In case you do need assistance, our lash specialists will give you their professional advice based on your eye shape, face shape, and your needs. If you would like to receive their expert opinion please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Will my natural lashes fall out and be damaged during or after the process?

The eyelash extensions will not damage your natural lashes. Remember our own natural lashes have their own cycle where they fall out and new lashes grow back, just like our hair. The cycle of our natural lashes takes 2-3 months. Be aware that our natural lashes shed during certain periods of the year. Our lash technicians will never allow you to make a choice that will result in any damage to your natural lashes.

How long will my new lashes last?

The lash extensions can last for 3-6 weeks or longer, this is all based on how you take care of them. We always recommend coming back for a refill every 2-3 weeks.

Do I still need to put mascara on my new lashes?

No, never apply mascara to your eyelash extensions.

How soon can I wet my lashes after they are applied?

Allow the glue to dry for about 6 hours after the process. After that 6 hour period has passed you may return to your regular routine!

Can I use lash serum with my eyelash extensions?

Yes, however only the liquid- based serum can be used one – two weeks after eyelash extensions application.

How do I take care of my new lashes so they will last longer?

Do not get your lashes wet for the first 6 hours after your appointment, the glue must dry completely. Do not use waterproof eyeliner, or any type of mascara. Also, avoid using oil- based makeup remover, you can use anything that is water based. To cleanse your lashes daily, use Lash Shampoo. Refrain from rubbing your eyes, or pulling out the lashes.

Anything else I need to know?

Don’t get too close to fire, your lashes are now longer than what you are used to! The fire will burn these lashes, and possibly cause some serious damage! Avoid direct heat from the sun, this exposure for long periods of time can cause your lashes to fall out. If you gave any concerns such as being allergic to glue, tell us ASAP so we can do an allergy test before the application process.

What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to make a cancellation please let us know as soon as possible! You can do this by sending us an email or giving us a call! All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your appointment. If your cancellation is not made within the appropriate time frame, you will be required to make a 50% deposit if you wish to rebook. What is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination is a non-invasive 5-step procedure that manipulates the direction of your
brow hairs to achieve a fuller, fluffier look. After cleansing the brows, we use adhesive, a
perming solution, setting solution, and finish off by replenishing any proteins or nutrients
stripped from your brow hairs with a nourishing treatment. The products we use contain a
protein composition that includes keratin to create a protective film around the hair, encouraging
brow growth.

How long will it last?

Brow Lamination usually lasts 6-8 weeks, but may vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, your
brow hair’s natural growth cycle/type, and ability to follow the aftercare.

What is Lip Blushing?

Lip blushing involves using microneedles to tattoo ink into the lips, enhancing their natural color. This procedure is designed to even out or add color, addressing pigment deficiencies. Initially, your lips will appear darker, resembling lipstick, but as they heal, they will transform into a subtle and natural-looking lip tint.

How long does it last?

Individual outcomes may differ, and following your first session and touch-up, the longevity of your results is expected to range from 2 to 5 years. The need for additional touch-ups depends on individual factors and the desired aesthetic. It’s crucial to note that permanent makeup ink has a different composition than body art ink and is intentionally formulated to have a shorter lifespan.

What to expect?
  • During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own.
  • Expect the color to eventually lighten by up to 40% once the healing process is complete.
  • Color may appear uneven at different stages of healing. Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results.
Does Lip Blushing hurt?

Lip blushing does not hurt.

How long does the procedure take and what should I expect?

It can take up to 2.5-3.5 hours for the procedure, this is dependent on the clients lips. We first wrap the lips with a papaya mask to nourish your lips. We sanitize the lips with iodine with a q-tip. We then exfoliate the lips with a gentle lip scrub. We then apply numbing cream only around the outer sides of the lips and we live this on for 5 – 10 minutes. We mostly apply it around the outer lips. We use a medical claw that we put in your mouth to isolate your teeth and lips to ensure you’re not ingesting anything toxic/harmful.

Will I still have to wear lipstick and can other colors still look the same on top?

This is up to the look each individual is trying to achieve. Using lipstick is not needed, however, with lip blushing – it’s easier to wear different shades of lipstick, that way when you do decide to change it up and want to wear lipstick it will still look great over top, and can cover your tattoo with whatever color we decide to use. Lip blushing will actually enhance the lipstick.

Can lip blushing be done on anyone/everyone?

Lip blushing is not for everyone. Please read the contraindications carefully. If any of the following apply to you, this procedure is not recommended:

  • If you are prone to cold sores, please see instructions below.

Please note: even if none of the above apply, lip blushing cannot be guaranteed. This is a cosmetic tattooing procedure, the skin can be unpredictable, it is up to your skin to retain the pigment. If you are prone to cold sores, lip tattooing CAN cause outbreaks, which can result in loss of pigment. Until fully the cold-sore is fully recovered, we will not be able to do the lip blushing procedure on an ACTIVE cold-sore. Consult with your doctor for any additional questions. If you have an outbreak, or any other type of scratch/acne/open-wound on your lip, we ask that you reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. If you show up with any type of outbreak, your appointment is considered canceled and you forfeit your deposit.

  • Discontinue any vitamin A skin care products (Retin-A, retinols) close to the enhancement area at least two weeks prior to your procedure. **I recommend NOT using these products over or around the tattooed area after you receive your cosmetic tattoo. • Discontinue use of AHA (chemical exfoliation) skin care products close to the area to be tattooed at least one week prior to your procedure.
  • No laser or electrolysis on or around the treatment area one week prior to procedure.
  • No botox or fillers in the procedure area less than 4-6 months prior.
